Namibia's Messum crater and wild horses
7 July to 26 July

Using the town of Pofadder as our meeting point gives us the opportunity to sneak over the border at Velloorsdrift and work our way up to Helmeringhausen for our first night in the old South West! Few evenings later we sit down at the famous “Joe’s Beer house” in Windhoek!

Direction Brandberg from Windhoek and a three day stopover allows us to attend an Intermediate training course to “Off-road” riding. Messum crater next and then west, west, west, south, south, south, all the way back to Paternoster in South Africa.

You guessed it, Henties, Swakop, Walvis, Solitair, Luderitz, Hondeklip baai and finally Paternoster. Sand? Yes a little bit!

5300 km round trip 19 days later back home!
